🌸 SPRING IS IN THE AIR!🌸

This litter is going to bloom like the first buds when the weather warms.
Soon, everyone will be swooning under the cherry blossoms for the cutest little puppies in town!

As a second generation, the puppies in this litter will be more diversified in both health and temperament.

Genetic diversity will be a strength in these puppies. High immune diversity allows each puppy a better ability to withstand many health issues in dogs.

A litter with lots of different possibilities within strong boundaries of health, stable temperament, and beauty.

APPEARANCE

We may see a few giants in this litter, but most puppies in this litter will be extra-large in size. Puppies will range in adult weights from 100 - 140 lbs, with females being generally smaller.

Statistically, the puppies from this litter will have the following coat color possibilities:

1. 75% wolf sable
2. 25% black/silver points
3. 50% black wolf sable
4. 0% pure white
5. 50% black mask
6. 50% wolf mask
7. 0% furnishings (mustache)
8. 0% feathering (long hair behind ears/legs and between toes)
9. 0% liver dilute
10. 50% amber/brown eye color
11. 50% yellow eye color
12. 50% normal muscling
13. 50% heavy muscling

Some puppies will have a completely solid color with no white spotting on their toes, tail tip, chest/belly, and possibly on the muzzle. Other puppies will show mild to heavy white spotting. A few puppies may even show a white stripe on their forehead or neck. Some puppies will show highly slanted, bright yellow eyes. Others will have amber or brown eyes. All puppies should have medium to long double coat types without feathering or furnishings. We do expect most ears to rise, although some may take longer to rise than others and some may try to rise but ultimately drop back down. Short, straight tails are expected. A few puppies may be giant in size, standing 30 inches tall at the shoulders and weighing ~130 lbs as adults. Most puppies will be extra large in size, standing ~28 inches tall at the shoulders and weighing 100 - 110 lbs as adults.

INHERITED TEMPERAMENT

This litter is a SECOND GENERATION with diversified temperament options.

Some puppies may have a busier energy. Some may be more vocal. A few pups may like to carry things softly in their mouth and may even retrieve. Some puppies will be more confident than others. All puppies will be submissive and affectionate with their people. Loving, devoted and high intelligence will be especially prominent. Some puppies may have more of a velcro type personality. Some puppies may vocalize when excited or needy. All puppies should have a desire to remain at home and stay close without a desire to wander or roam. We will note any deviation from our unique family companion dog inherited temperament.

HEALTH

Both parents have been DNA tested clear of over 250 genetically inherited canine diseases and have high immune diversity. The puppies from this litter will be second generation (F2) American Dirus dogs. This means that two generations of hand-picked DireWolf Dogs lie within the pedigree before the most recent crossbreeding. The most recent crossbreeding was to an energetic, but loving 50/50 Lab/German Shepherd cross.

The inbreeding coefficient for this litter is 9.57% on a five generation pedigree with 83.3% ancestor loss coefficient on a four generation pedigree. 

We must keep two females from this litter to further the line. All other puppies will be sold.

Puppies will range in price from $3500 to $4800 for pet quality and more for breeding/show quality.
