About the Litter

The cutest tail-wagging baby monsters will melt your heart and make you want to scoop them up, shower them with love, and embark on a lifetime of unforgettable adventures together.

APPEARANCE

Puppies are expected to be giant in size!

When full grown, we expect males from this litter to stand 30-31 inches tall at the shoulders and weigh around 135 - 145 lbs.

Statistically, the puppies from this litter will have the following coat color possibilities:

1. 50% black wolf sable w/ wolf mask
2. 25% black @ birth; light silver wolf sable w/ wolf mask as adult
3. 22% silver wolf sable w/ wolf mask
4. 22% silver wolf sable w/ black mask
5. 6.25% black/silver bi-color (50% black mask; 50% wolf mask)
6. 25% homozygous for wolf mask
7. 75% chance of each puppy carrying at least one copy of the wolf mask gene
8. 0% white
9. 0% furnishings (mustache)
10. 0% feathering (long hair behind ears/legs and between toes)
11. 0% liver dilute
12. 50% amber/brown eye color
13. 50% yellow eye color
14. 100% normal muscling w/ heavy muscling carried in the recessive

Some puppies will have significant white spotting on their toes, tail tip, chest/belly, and possibly on the muzzle. Other puppies will show mild white spotting. Still others will have no white spotting whatsoever. Some puppies should show highly slanted, bright yellow eyes. Other puppies will have amber or brown eyes. All puppies should have medium to long double coat types without feathering or furnishings. We expect ears to rise, although some will take longer than others. Some tails will curl up when excited. Other puppies will have straighter tails. Some puppies will be average in size, standing 27 - 29 inches tall at the shoulders and weighing 100 - 115 lbs as adults.

INHERITED TEMPERAMENT

This litter is a SECOND GENERATION and with a highly diverse inherited temperament.

Some puppies will be more vocal or have high energy and prey/play drives. Others will be mellow, calm, and quiet, per standard.

Some puppies will be more confident than others. All puppies will be submissive and affectionate with their people. Loving, devoted and high intelligence will be especially prominent. Some puppies may have more of a velcro type personality. All puppies should have a desire to remain at home and stay close without a desire to wander or roam. As always, we will note any deviation from our unique family companion dog inherited temperament.

HEALTH

Both parents have been DNA tested clear of over 250 genetically inherited canine diseases and have high immune diversity. The puppies from this litter will be second generation (F2) American Dirus dogs. This means that only two generations have passed before the most recent crossbreeding.

The inbreeding coefficient for this litter is 9.97% on a five generation pedigree and six known COIs with 80% ancestor loss coefficient on a four generation pedigree. 

We would be open to co-owning a male puppy from this litter if you live within a 10-hour drive from Spokane; however, we must keep at least two giant wolf mask female puppies from this litter to further the lines. 

Puppies will range in price from $3000 to $4800 for pet quality and more for breeding/show quality.

Any black puppies will be $4000 or higher.
