BIRTH NOTES
This puppy was born feet first in the sack. She is healthy without signs of weakness. She does not require any assistance to do anything. She gets around with ease and finds her way to the milk bar when she needs to.

Birth Weight: 1 lbs 2.25 oz.

GENERAL NOTES:
Despite the low standardized temperament scores that Denali shows below, she is a wonderful dog. Her scores simply reflect her closeness in inherited temperament to our breed standards. That is why we also post our general notes on each individual puppy so that any potential owners can see that knowing these innate scores help a new owner match their training to their new puppy. We also use these scores to help puppies in the lower score category with early training and lap therapy techniques. In this case, Denali is a puppy who has her own mind. She is more independent than her siblings, meaning less of a velcro dog and more of a dog who can be on her own without neediness or emotional clinginess. She will do best in a family who understands how to place clear and consistent boundaries. A family who also knows how to teach a dog exactly what it is that is required will also be a plus. I would recommend this puppy go to a more experienced dog family who has had well-trained dogs in the past and doesn't mind teaching a puppy with a bit more willfulness. I will say this, though, Denali is not dominant in nature. She is highly submissive and easily redirected. In that sense, she will bend to the will of her family as long as they are clear and consistent. If you allow her to get away making up her own rules, you'll have to live with whatever rules she makes up. This puppy is a loving snuggler who has a great big heart. She will want to get pets and affection, bonding strongly with her family. She will benefit from positive socialization experiences that do not overwhelm or cause fear. This puppy will easily learn obedience and be great with children, other dogs, and cats.

TEMPERAMENT TEST #2
This puppy moved her front feet to and fro, as if dancing, during the rough pet. She also cried out a few times. This puppy initially pumped her feet as she was rising during the lift, then she was loose, still, and quiet. This puppy was loose, still, and quiet during the turn. He body completely relaxed as she looked up at the handler. This puppy was initially loose and relaxed during the pet on the head in an unfamiliar location, but then she flinched her head to the left and rested it on the handler's chest. She also opened her mouth to yawn, but chose not to. She closed her eyes a couple times and moved her right paw up to her face. This puppy sat down when placed back into the den away from her siblings. She then turned back toward the handler, licked her a few times, and then sniffed the handler's sleeves, looking all around the handler's body.

This puppy receives an overall score of 7.5 for this temperament test.

TEMPERAMENT TEST #1
This puppy was fairly vocal during first 24 hours after birth. She verbally complained when picked up and when she needed something. This puppy wiggled and writhed when lifted. She complained vocally when touched by a human. This puppy moved around on the scale and had to be placed back on to obtain the accurate weight measurement.

This puppy receives an overall score of 6 for this temperament test.

BIRTH NOTES
This puppy is feisty. She is still much of the time, but when she is picked up or touched, she verbally complains. This puppy has a personality and will not allow others to push her around. This puppy gets what she wants and doesn't mind fighting for it. This puppy is not sensitive, but has a sharp mind and a will of her own. Depending on how this puppy develops, she may require lap therapy with a consistent release command to learn that the world doesn't revolve around her.

2nd WEEK NOTES:
This puppy appears to be a black with light undercoat. She looks to have a medium length coat with furnishings. She has highly slanted eyes.

BIRTH NOTES
Sixth puppy born is a black female with white paws. She has a long, white tipped tail, as well. Long and thin in body type.
