BIRTH NOTES
This puppy entered the world head first with his sack intact. This puppy latched onto the milk bar with ease, as if instinctively knowing what to do.
Birth Weight: 1 lbs. 4 oz.
GENERAL NOTES:
This puppy is extremely calm and gentle. He is also highly submissive, but has an innate confidence that allows him to control his emotions and handle new stressors without much fuss. This puppy is also highly alert and aware of his surroundings. He is an intelligent pup with a big heart. This puppy will likely be confident in new situations without much socialization experience, although it will benefit him to have positive experiences in this area just to make sure his current confidence doesn't slip over the next few months. This puppy is a thinking type of dog. He is able to problem solve, but requires a good amount of wait time. This means that his new owners need to understand that he shouldn't be rushed or pushed to do too many tasks too quickly. He needs time to think and sort through the files in his mind to make sure he is correct. He will not like to be wrong. Instead of giving lots of different behaviors to check if one of them is what is expected, he will calmly sit or stand, as if he didn't hear the task. This is not to be confused with stubbornness. Instead, he is confused and doesn't understand. This behavior is typical for our breed. Again, he must be allowed time to think. Also, this puppy will learn by watching. He is very alert and aware of his surroundings, which will be a benefit to him during his dog training months. This puppy has a high potential for being an excellent service dog in the areas of psychiatric/PTSD or mobility. He has the innate confidence to also make it as a therapy dog, although he will be very quiet and calm about his mannerisms (unless he is trained to do otherwise). This puppy rivals the best in the breed. I cannot wait to watch him develop.
TEMPERAMENT TEST #2
This puppy was on the move just before being administered the rough pet. He stopped his forward motion and remained standing during this part of the test. This puppy slightly dipped his head in anticipation of the rhythmic pets. This puppy pumped his feet when first lifted, then loosened and remained still and quiet throughout. This puppy was loose, still, and quiet during the turn. This puppy was initially loose and did not flinch or rotate his head to the side when pet on the head in an unfamiliar location. He did stick out his tongue, as if concentrating. After the fourteenth pet, he then turned his head to the right side with his tongue still out. When the pet ended, he immediately brought his head back to a neutral position. This puppy laid down when placed back into the den away from his siblings. He took a big sigh and laid his head down on his front paws.
This puppy receives an overall score of 10 for this temperament test.
TEMPERAMENT TEST #1
This puppy was quiet for the first 24 hours after birth. This puppy did not mind being touched or lifted by a human. This puppy was still and quiet on the scale.
This puppy receives an overall score of 10 for this temperament test.
BIRTH NOTES
This puppy is calm and collected. He doesn't make waves and stays under the radar. He gets where he needs to go and never complains. He doesn't mind being picked up or moved about. This puppy is extremely quiet.
2nd WEEK NOTES:
This puppy is a giant dominant black male with a wolf mask. He has a long coat type without feathering or furnishings. This puppy has highly slanted eyes.
BIRTH NOTES
This puppy is a giant black male with absolutely no white spotting anywhere. Although this puppy is a giant size, he has a long, thin body structure. This puppy has a large head, though.
