BIRTH NOTES
This puppy had a difficult time entering the world because of his massive size. This puppy weighted 1 lbs 3.5 oz. at birth, but his over size is larger than another other puppy in the litter, despite the scale weight being the same as the brown collar male. This puppy's umbilical cord was thick and full of nutrients when cut. Very robust puppy.
GENERAL NOTES:
This puppy has an extremely calm and collected demeanor. He is slow and methodical in his movements. He doesn't ever rush. He takes his time. This puppy is extremely affectionate. He loves being touched and loved on. He will be a major snuggler. This puppy has an even temperament and does not become riled up, hiding his emotions without much outward movement or expression. This puppy is a thinker. He is highly intelligent and aware of his surroundings, but because of his slow pace, he doesn't respond immediately. This puppy will require a family that has good patience. He would be great for a home where it's okay to be a couch potato. He is highly intelligent, but might fool some people because he will not be quick to respond. I doubt even when in the presence of high value food rewards. He's not going to be motivated. A real gentle giant. This puppy will do well with a family who is quiet and calm in nature. A family who also can adjust to his subtle emotional needs would be great, as well. This boy would also be great for an elderly family or people who are just not that active. This puppy is going to be huge, so his slow, methodical nature compliments this well.
TEMPERAMENT TEST #2
This puppy laid down for the rough pet. He was still, loose, and quiet. He did not move forward or backward. His head did move around some, as if looking around. This puppy still, loose, and quiet during the lift. No stiffness whatsoever. This puppy pumped his back feet when he was actively being turned upside down. Once he was completely turned, he was loose, still, and quiet. His head was lifted, though. This puppy stiffened his head and tilted it to the left into the handler's chest when pet on the head in an unfamiliar location. This puppy also yawned twice during this part of the test. This puppy stuck out his tongue after the yawn. This puppy also flinched at one of the head touches. This puppy then licked the handler's mouth. When this puppy was placed back into the den away from his siblings, he looked around and remained seated where he was placed. Then he turned toward the handler and began licking her hand. He then turned around and walked back to the puppy pile.
This puppy receives an overall score of 8.5 for this second temperament test.
TEMPERMENT TEST #1
This puppy was quiet for the first 24 hours after birth. This puppy did not wiggle or move on the scale. This puppy did not mind being lifted or touched by a human. This puppy is exceptionally calm as a newborn.
This puppy receives an overall score of 10+ for this first temperament test.
BIRTH NOTES
This puppy is very methodical and slow in his movements. He places each foot down deliberately and moves one small inch at a time, almost like a sloth. This puppy was still and quiet on the scale. This puppy did not mind being picked up. He is very quiet.
2nd WEEK NOTES:
This puppy is a giant piebald male with a white body and a silver head, a black mask, and a thick spotted white stripe on his forehead. This puppy also appears to have a long coat w/o feathering, quite a unique combination of traits that we wish to enhance in the breed. This puppy will likely weigh around 130-140 lbs as an adult, standing 30-31 inches tall.
BIRTH NOTES
This puppy is a giant male. He towers over his siblings, who are extra large in size already. This puppy is all white except for his head, which is silver in color. He has a white stripe down his forehead, as well. This puppy has a very distinctive, unique look unlike any other American Dirus dog to date. He may also have furnishings. He does have long hair, however. Quite an amazing combination of traits in this male.
