FOUR WEEK UPDATE:
This puppy is more than half the size of her siblings. This fact does not appear to hinder her in any way, however. She eats and drinks well, is vibrant in her mental capacities, and has passed all of the developmental milestones just like her siblings. At this time, I did not see any ill health or structural abnormalities beyond her smaller size.
BIRTH NOTES:
She was born 10:00pm. She was born head first with the sack on and fluid still inside.
FOUR WEEK UPDATE:
This puppy is extremely intelligent... genius level. She can outperform her siblings in any task. She is also very highly emotionally aware. She seeks out deep connection with humans, oftentimes insisting on being noticed and adored. She loves physical affection and being close/snuggling.
As mentioned, this puppy is highly intelligent and emotionally aware. She is a problem-solver and very observant. This can be a great asset or also get her in trouble. It depends on how the humans set boundaries for her. This puppy will strategize. She can think in chess moves... "If I do this, they will do this, which will allow me to do this." Give her training time one-on-one with just you and her. Use her superior brain to teach her tricks and give her lots of new experiences. She will soak it all up. She might be an excellent candidate for therapy dog work, if socialization goes well for her.
If you pay attention to her subtle body language, you will see that she can speak in sentences. She is very articulate and knows what she wants. Again, this can get her in trouble if clear rules and boundaries are not set from the beginning. She has a wicked smart memory recall. So, if she gets away with something once, she'll try it again.
I have very high hopes for this little girl. May she grow up to be all that her potential suggests.
BIRTH NOTES:
This puppy was still and quiet in her sack just after birth. She waited to be released from her sack before breathing and wiggling. This puppy was quiet with only a little movement.
FOUR WEEK UPDATE:
This puppy's pink skin has turned black. She will likely show a snow nose in the winter (lighter in the winter, darker in the summer). She has a long coat type without feathering, although she may have some furnishings. Her right ear has risen and the left one is on the rise and will be up soon.
BIRTH NOTES:
Fourth puppy is a third large white female with pink skin. She was born 10:00pm.
