BIRTH NOTES
Fifth puppy born came into the world wriggling in the sack. He was head first and ready to breathe. He was on the long, thin side of life just after birth, but plumped up well after the first few hours. He breathed easily and was not in any way unhealthy. He went right to the milk bar and drank heavily.

Birth Weight: 1 lbs, 5 oz

GENERAL NOTES:
This puppy is an exceptional all-around family companion dog. He is fairly innately confident and doesn't shy away from situations or circumstances that are unfamiliar. This puppy is overall calm and collected. He has an even temperament that doesn't lend itself to getting upset or riled up. This puppy will be stable in many situations, but he is also sensitive emotionally. That means he will be initially confident, but negative experiences can shatter his positive outlook in life. So his new owners will need to be aware of his emotions and make sure to protect them. This puppy is highly intelligent and aware of his surroundings. He will be great at obedience and learning new tasks. This puppy will be great with children, other dogs, and cats.

TEMPERAMENT TEST #2
This puppy stood during the rough pet. He initially stayed in one place, then moved forward against the whelped pen side. This puppy was still, loose, and quiet during the lift. As the turn began, he anticipated the movement and "helped" the handler by moving his body in the same direction. He kept his head up, but the rest of his body was loose. He was still and quiet throughout the turn. This puppy did not flinch or turn his head away from the pet in an unfamiliar location. He remained calm and quiet throughout this part of the test. This puppy walked right over the handler's hands, as if they weren't there. Then, he went back to the puppy pile. Calm and quiet.

This puppy receives a score of 9.8 for this temperament test.

TEMPERAMENT TEST #1
This puppy was quiet for the first 24 hours after birth. This puppy did not mind being touched or lifted by a human. This puppy was still and quiet on the scale.

This puppy receives an overall score of 10 for this temperament test.

BIRTH NOTES
This puppy can move when he chooses to. He doesn't often choose to, but he can get around when needed. This puppy is quiet and confident. He knows where to go and grabs what he needs without being pushy.

2nd WEEK NOTES:
This puppy is a white male. His nose and paws turned jet black over the first week after birth. He has a long coat without feathering, although he may have furnishings. We will know with more certainty as the weeks pass. He has a more narrow head shape and will not be as stocky in build as some of his siblings.

BIRTH NOTES
This puppy has a long, thin frame. His is a large white male. He was born with a pink nose and pink skin. He will likely have a Dudley nose as an adult; black in the summer and pink in the winter.
