TEMPERAMENT TEST #2

This puppy sat up and then scooted backward. He was quiet throughout. This puppy still, loose, and silent during the lift. This puppy was loose in his upper body, but moved his rear legs into his body, drawing them up instead of keeping them loose. This puppy did not flinch during the head touch in an unfamiliar location, but after a few touches, he moved his head into the crook of the handler's arms. He was not stiff or squirmy in any way. This puppy looked around, then crawled slowly back to another puppy and snuggled up to it, closing his eyes.

This puppy receives a score of 8.5 for this second temperament test.

TEMPERAMENT TEST #1

This puppy was very quiet for the first 24 hours after birth. He wiggled when picked up and when on the scale, but he was quiet throughout. This puppy moved back to mom in a straight line with what appeared to be deliberate movements... as if he knows where to go.

This puppy receives a score of 9 for this first temperament test.

THREE WEEK UPDATES

This puppy is now the heaviest puppy in the litter. He is a giant silver wolf sable male with a long coat and possible feathering. This puppy has a black muzzle and white spotting with black spots in them. He has a thinner head shape with large feet.

BIRTH NOTES

This puppy came into the world butt first with the sack intact. It broke on impact and we had to hold its little back legs so it wouldn't slip back into the birth canal. He may have taken one breath inside the sack, but he was breathing well once fully birthed. He weighed 1 lbs and 7 oz at birth. He looks to be a silver wolf gray at this time. He is large and long. He was wiggly on the scale, but very quiet. He also wiggled in the handler's arms when lifted, but was quiet. He moves about with ease and goes where he wants to go... as if he thinks it and then he does it. No contemplation.
