TEMPERAMENT TEST #2

This puppy sat for the rough pet. He was loose, still, and silent during the pet. This puppy was initially very loose at the lift. However, he cried out in what sounded like pain halfway through. The handler had lifted him so that he was facing the handler (which is backwards), and so this may have affected the way he was being held. When the handler placed him back down on to the ground and released tension on his shoulders, he stopped his cries. It appears that the lift being performed backward was the culprit, and this was not his normal reaction because he was initially very loose and still. We must score according to his reaction, though, so that is reflected in his overall score. When turned, this puppy was loose and still. His tail was laid loosely on his stomach, though, and not hanging down. He gave a sigh and then relaxed more into the turn. He was silent throughout. This puppy was not head shy. He was completely relaxed and still, making no sound. This puppy laid still for a few seconds when placed back into the den. Then, he leisurely moved himself over to a nearby puppy and closed his eyes.

TEMPERAMENT TEST #1

This puppy wiggled a bit right after birth. He cried out and moved in a circle when touched. This puppy moved quite a bit on the scale. This puppy's heart rate was somewhat elevated until he was placed back with mom.

This puppy receives a score of 7.5 for this first temperament test.

THREE WEEK UPDATES

This puppy is a large dark gold wolf sable male with what appears to be the beginnings of a wolf mask. He has a sad eye look about him because his eyes are not highly slanted, but tilt downward a little. This puppy has a short coat type, just like his mother, Jesse. He will probably look very similar to her only bulkier (not as thin).

BIRTH NOTES

This puppy came into the world head first with the sack intact at 4:48 am. This is a large gold wolf sable male weighing 1 lbs 5 oz at birth. He was wiggly upon arrival. He cried out and moved in a circle when touched. This puppy moved quite a bit on the scale. He was not content until he was placed back with momma. This puppy has only a tiny sliver of white on his chest, otherwise he is completely solid colored.
