UPDATE: March 9. 2023 This puppy has returned to normal feeding. She is significantly smaller than her siblings, but no longer threatening dehydration. She is acting normal with good feeding and drinking. No other issues whatsoever.

UPDATE: March 1, 2023 This puppy has developed severe dehydration from consistently being pushed off of the milk bar by her larger siblings. This puppy required rehydration therapy via subcutaneous fluids as well as supplemental goat milk-based puppy formula to keep glucose levels from dropping. This puppy required a week of intervention after the above date. This puppy is now fully recovered. She does require constant monitoring to make sure she has adequate time at the milk bar.

No significant health issues to report. This puppy is eating easily from mom at this time. She gets around with ease and knows where to go.

Temperament Test #2
This puppy sat up during the rough pet. She moved her body slightly backwards into the sit. She was silent and still after that initial movement. This puppy was still, loose and quiet during the lift. This puppy was still, loose, and quiet during the turn. However, at the very end she gave a cry just before being turned back over. If the handler had waited just a little bit more, she feels certain this puppy would have complained about her positioning. But, as it happened, the handler was already going to turn the puppy, so the puppy immediately quieted. This puppy licked the handler when being placed close to the body. She was not head shy. She remained loose and quiet during this time. This puppy traveled around the den when placed back away from its siblings. She whined softly as she walked.
This puppy receives a score of 9.2 for this temperament test.

NOTE: This puppy has had significant handling from people for the first three weeks of its life. This was due to her being dehydrated and needing to be rehydrated via lactated ringers (subcutaneous fluids). Therefore, these results may not be valid as a RAW pup™ test.
