Bally

Baluster is perfectly healthy. He has not had any tremors, seizures, weakness in the legs or feet, limping, panosteitis symptoms, issues with his eyes or ears, excessive scratching or other allergy symptoms, etc. He runs, jumps, lopes, lies down, etc without any difficulty. He has never showed signs of pain or any symptoms of illness at any time.  He is physically fit and vibrant.

Temperament Test #3
This puppy sat up and looked in the direction of the object. After ten seconds, he came over to investigate the object, sniffing it. (10) This puppy did not move forward or backward, but stayed in position during the rough pet. He did drop his head in anticipation of the next pet. He looked up at the handler after the petting ceased. (10) This puppy was stiff in the body, but hung his tail and legs down straight. He lifted his head to the sky and opened his mouth slightly. This puppy did not make any noise, but did move the very tip or base of his tail in quick succession. (7) This puppy stiffened his back at first when turned over. His feet and tail were relaxed. After five seconds, his back relaxed and he remained quiet and loose during the turn. (8) This puppy sniffed around the edges of the basket and then looked over the edge. He put one paw up on the side of the edge and lifted his body sideways hanging his head on the other side of the basket and looked down. Then, he returned to a sitting position. He did not make any noise during this trial. (8) This puppy turned around and began tugging at the edge of the handlers pant legs. He then turned toward another puppy and began playing with it. (8) 
This puppy receives an overall score of 8.5 for this test.

Temperament Test #2
This puppy perked his head up, sat up, and then jolted slightly at the loud noise. He did not move away, cower, lower his head, or make any noise. (9) This puppy did not move forward or backward upon the rough pet. He was silent throughout. (10) This puppy was silent, still, and completely loose upon the lift. (10+) This puppy was silent, still, and completely loose upon the turn. He did turn his head to test the boundary, but it was feeble and he immediately returned without fuss. He did not fight, draw up his legs, yawn, or make any noise. (10+) This puppy searched the bottom of the basket, sniffing and moving around the bottom. He did sniff up the sides, but made no movement to jump up or look up. He was silent throughout. (9) This puppy looked around from side to side. He was loose and silent. He eventually moved in the correct direction and returned to the puppy pile, resting his head on top of a puppy. (9)
This puppy receives an overall score of 9.83 for this test.

Temperament Test #1
This puppy did not care about mother's licking. He is quiet and still. He was able to find mother's milk the moment the commotion was over. This puppy is strong and powerful in his movements, but doesn't move much unless he needs to go somewhere. (10+) He doesn't make any noise when eating or being groomed by his mother. (10+) This puppy sleeps and eats. He moves when it is time for feeding, but he doesn't over-react by moving quickly or grunting when others are in his way. Instead, he moves to where he wants to be and claims his space. (10+) This puppy looked around on the scale, but did not move to get off or make any noise in opposition during the exam. This puppy struggled and grunted when lifted. (8) This puppy grunted softly when turned over on his back. He did remain still, but his feet were drawn up and not loose. (8) This puppy bobbed his head from side to side when placed back into the den away from his mother. He took a few seconds to sniff the air around him and then moved forward with his head going from side to side. The moment he touched a puppy foot in front of him, he propelled his body forward with gusto. (8) This puppy moved his head when touched by a human, but did not move foward or backward and did not grunt. (9)

Birth Notes
1st puppy to arrive at 10:00 pm March 1, 2022 is a 1 lbs 10.5 oz silver male with a huge head, broad body, and plump torso. This male is very quiet and self-assured. He is able to find warmth and crawl toward it. No distress or noise, whatsoever. This puppy has a long black-tipped tail with a few white hairs at the tip. He also has white back paws and two white front toes. The white on his chest extends up into his neck and chin. His nose is black.

Baluster is an extra large (giant) silver wolf sable puppy with a black mask and yellow eyes. He has a long, straight coat type. His mane and tail are especially fluffy. His black mask rises up to his eyebrows with deep black pigmentation. This boy has extra large feet that spread out to bare the weight of his stature. This puppy is tall and broad with musculature and strength. He has a large, broad head shape with small, almond shaped eyes. His stop is slightly more pronounced than we like with a thick muzzle that is not too long or snipey in length. His bone structure is thick and round and he stands straight with pasterns not tending to bow in or out. His tail is short and thick without a tendency to curl. It does lift up when he is excited. This puppy had a deep black nose at birth and weighed 1 lbs 10.5 oz as a newborn, the heaviest newborn puppy we have every witnessed. He has a solid black stripe of fur down his back and his sable coloring is tipped with both black and white flecking. He shows a few hairs of white on the tip of his tail, a white patch on his chest, and white on the toes of all four paws. All of the pads on his paws are black and his white toes have since disappeared over the first four weeks of life.
