Pray tell! What do we have here? The EIGHTH PUPPY is a tiny male with very little white spotting weighing in at 11 3/4 oz. Only his toes on all four paws are white. No white on chest or tail tip. He arrived head first with the sack on and came rushing out like a stampede. He is extremely calm and quiet thus far. He is skinny and could use some fattening up. He looks to be a little bit lighter in coloring than his siblings and will be a golden sable, if my eyes don’t deceive me.

This puppy came into the world like a bullet from a gun. (9) This puppy was quiet at the beginning, but showed some grunting noises during the first 8 hours after birth. (8) This puppy was calm and collected after birth, getting where he needed to as needed. (10) This puppy grunted and moved about with his head shifting from side to side when pet. (7) This puppy pumped his feet and writhed violently when lifted, grunting throughout. (6) This puppy grunted and struggled when turned. His body was stiff and his legs drawn up. (5) This puppy moved immediately forward with placed back down in the den away from his siblings. He did not take any time, but propelled himself forward in large sweeping movements. He returned to the pack swiftly and went under mom. (4)

This puppy initially finched when the loud noise happened, but did not shy away, move under the other puppies, or whine/cry out. Instead, he stood up and looked toward the sound. (8) This puppy sat up during the rough pet, but did not make any noise and did not move forward or backward. He also did not move into the pet. (9) This puppy was loose, still, and silent during the lift. (10) This puppy was completely loose and silent during the turn. Halfway through the trial, he sighed as if submitting further to his fate. (10) This puppy briefly sniffed the bottom of the basket and then dropped his head and closed his eyes. He was completely relaxed and silent. (10+) This puppy sat where he was placed for the first five seconds, then stood up, briefly sniffed the handler's hand, and then gave three soft whines as he looked to his siblings. (8)

Conformation: 7.5

This puppy is a light silver in color with a wolf gray color pattern. He is a very small size and stature with a thin overall bone and body structure. This puppy has a medium length tail that has some curl to it. This puppy has a black mask. His head is on the thin side with small ears that look to already be on the rise. He also has straight stifles. This puppy receives an overall conformation score of 7.5 at this time.
