This male is independent and highly intelligent. He is an alpha personality, not interested in following the crowd. He doesn't like to be told what to do. This puppy will follow a strong leader, but in the absence of a strong leader, he will become his own leader. This puppy is highly emotionally sensitive. He does not appreciate rules that seem unfair or confusing. This puppy needs strict consistency to fully understand his need to comply. He is extremely intelligent, as I already mentioned, almost genius level. He can learn very easily, but at the same time, he can easily understand how to manipulate in order to not have to comply. He would do best in a family who understands that freedom is not free, but it must be earned. If this puppy is allowed to be free and do what he wants, he will easily decide not to ever comply, because he doesn't have to. He must go to a family who to teach him that sometimes life doesn't go his way, and that's okay. This puppy is not dominant in nature or aggressive. He is emotionally soft and although he is on the independent side of life, he lacks confidence in himself at this time. This lack of confidence is a direct result of not understanding how he fits inside a human world. This dog can be such a wonderful dog for the right family who knows how to set firm, clear boundaries in a fair, consistent way taking his emotions and autonomy into account. He mistrusts humans who lie to him... and because he is so very intelligent... he can spot a human who lies very easily just in the way they waffle on their commands. But, boy, in the right home, he will be a wonderful dog. He loves to go for long walks. Once bonded, he does not have a tendency to wander or roam. He takes cue from a worthy leader, so if you are one, he's the smartest boy that will devote his all to you. He doesn't like change and prefers consistent routine where he doesn't have to navigate a changing world. Once he understands both exactly what to do and WHY he must do it, he will consistently perform.

This male is well structured. He has a thick bone structure. He is well-muscled with a large head. He is a dark silver wolf sable in color. His ears will be erect. His tail will curl over the top when excited, it looks like. His best feature is how well put together his overall bone structure appears. He does not have a tendency to trip over himself, which indicates how tight his joints are, as well as how good his bone structure is. This puppy has legs that hang straight down without a tendency toward cow hocks or pigeon toe.
