TWO WEEK UPDATE:

This puppy eats heartily and doesn't have any lingering difficulty finding a spot at the milk bar. She is healthy and vibrant without any indication of ill health. She weighs 2 lbs 11.5 oz at 2 weeks old.

BIRTH NOTES:

This puppy was born at 7:05 a.m. She was breech with the sack broken. It took some time to get her out of the birth canal, but even with that, she had a strong heartbeat. This puppy needed to have the mucus expelled from her lungs, but once that happened, she did not have any difficultly breathing. This puppy weighed 14 oz. at birth.

TEMPERAMENT TEST #2

This puppy sat still, loose and quiet during the rough pet. She did not move in any way, neither forward or backward. This puppy was initially loose at the lift. Then, she tightened her back feet up slightly before releasing them once again. She was otherwise still and quiet during the lift. This puppy was loose and quiet during the turn. She did gently move all four legs in a slow motion. She also looked around a bit with her mouth open a smidge. This puppy did not move when placed into the basket. Her body was not tense, nor was she shaken. In fact, her body was loose and she quietly and slowly looked around the basket without moving her body. She was silent throughout. This puppy remained where she was placed back into the den away from her siblings. Then, after about 15 seconds, she got up and waddled back to the puppy pile in a gentle, quiet, calm manner.

This puppy receives a score of 9 for this second temperament test.

TEMPERAMENT TEST #1:

This puppy did not mind being picked up by a human. She was still and quiet on the scale. This puppy was quiet for most of the first 24-hours after birth. This puppy does not move quickly. She is not resistant to help for finding the milk bar location.

This puppy receives a score of 10 for this first temperament test.

BIRTH NOTES:

This puppy is consistently quiet and calm in body, mind, and spirit. She did not wiggle on the scale and hasn't made a peep since birth. This puppy moves in a deliberate fashion, not rushed or panicked, but methodical and calculated. She appears to know exactly where she is at all times. And once she is there, she remains there still and quiet for a good while. She had to initially be taught where to find the milk bar. She wanted to look up instead of below. Once she understood, she was good to go.

TWO WEEK UPDATE:

Heather remains a smaller size compared to some of her giant siblings. She has an overall thin body type and svelte physique. She looks to have a wavy coat. This puppy has a dark dorsal stripe down her back. Her feet are on the smaller side compared to her body.

BIRTH NOTES:

This puppy is a light silver wolf sable female with a white mask. She was born with a pink nose and two pigmented dots in her nostrils. She has a dark bridge on her muzzle, but it doesn't track all the way down her muzzle to her nose. The pigmented bridge stops midway down her muzzle. This puppy has a black-tipped tail and no white spotting. This puppy has some gold tones to her coat with a pattern like tiger stripes. She is a large female, not extra-large or giant. This puppy has a long, thin tail. She isn't particularly robust at this time, but more on the thin side of life. She has a medium length coat with some wave to it.
