TWO WEEK UPDATE:

This puppy is exceptionally healthy and robust. He eats well. This puppy weighs 4 lbs, 9.5 oz at 2 weeks.

BIRTH NOTES:

This puppy was born at 2:05 a.m. on June 5, 2025. He weighed 1 lbs. 4 oz. at birth. He was born head first with the sack off, but just barely at the moment of exiting. As with the other puppies, he was stuck in the very last part of the birth canal, but his head was out, so he could breathe. This puppy had a small amount of mucus in his lungs, but he quickly expelled it when crying out after birth.

TEMPERAMENT TEST #2:

This puppy stood up and moved a few steps forward during the rough pet. He was quiet throughout. Other than his tail, which was drawn up to his belly, this puppy was quiet, still, and loose during the lift. This puppy was extremely relaxed during the turn. His tail lingered on his belly, but his entire body was completely relaxed. He was silent throughout. This puppy looked and moved around the basket sniffing constantly. He did not move quickly and was not tense. He was silent throughout. This puppy moved back to the puppy pile when placed back into the den away from the other puppies. He did not linger much, nor look back at or acknowledge the handler.

This puppy receives a score of 8 for this temperament test.

TEMPERAMENT TEST #1:

This puppy was somewhat vocal for the first 24-hours after birth. This puppy wiggled some on the scale and when held. This puppy could also be seen using his brain as if problem-solving.

This puppy receives a score of 7 for this first temperament test.

BIRTH NOTES:

This puppy wiggled on the scale. He also has a loud cry and often uses it when he is lying still and seems otherwise content. He may have been somewhat cold and wanted warmth, but it is interesting that he uses his voice to communicate almost right away after birth. This puppy was unwilling to move himself when malcontent, instead, he simply cried out for help. This lack of problem solving and instead hoping for immediate support in his time of need will be interesting to watch as he develops. He was silent when touched and lifted, but he was also sniffing and analyzing the new information in his brain.

TWO WEEK UPDATE:

This puppy is a black/silver bi-color with some yellowing. This puppy appears to be a giant in size. He is heavy and growing easily. This puppy is solid with mass to his bulk. This puppy has a medium length straight coat type.

BIRTH NOTES:

This puppy is definitely a tan-pointed puppy with silver and black coloring. He will have silver legs, like stocking, silver underneath his tail, and perhaps little silver pips for eyebrows, but otherwise, he will be a solid black color on his back and chest. This puppy already shows silver under his tail and some silver on his legs, although it will lighten as he grows. He shows no white spotting.
