This puppy has really blossomed in the last weeks. He now comes trotting out to see me with his tail wagging. He is confident and self-assured. This puppy loves affection and being hugged and pet by humans. This puppy confidently navigates the entire nursery space, as well as outdoors. He should be a good pup to take on walks, camping, or hiking.

This puppy is a thinker. His mind problem solves the different situations in a quiet and methodical way. This puppy will explore, but cautiously. He isn't a big risk-taker, but not as reserved as other puppies in this litter. This puppy is inquisitive, but will more want to observe first before exploring to make sure its safe first. This puppy likes routine and wants trust in a real relationship before engaging. This puppy will be highly devoted and bonded to his family.

TEMPERAMENT TEST #2

This puppy sat and then stood up during the rough pet. He was solid and quiet throughout this task. This puppy initially moved forward a step, but then stood still. This puppy was loose, still, and quiet during the lift. This puppy cried out when turned as if the tighter grasp was either startling or unexpectedly painful. After the turn, this puppy was quiet, still, and loose. He even gave a sigh and relaxed even more. This puppy stayed in one place when put back into the den away from his siblings. Then, he turned toward the handler reaching out his neck to sniff the foreign entity. This puppy then walked back slowly to the puppy pile. This puppy sniffed around the bottom of the basket, but also looked up as if navigating the space to find out what it was all about. This puppy gave a slight growl, but then was quiet as if thinking.

This puppy receives a score of 8.9 for this second temperament test.

TEMPERAMENT TEST #1:

This puppy is quiet for much of the time, but grunts with moved or touch by a human. This puppy is large and in charge. He takes up his space and doesn't allow other puppies to move him about. He is strong. This puppy grunted when held and turned over, but he was loose and still. This puppy looked around on the scale, but was not wiggly or overly energetic. This puppy went right back to eating when placed back with his mother.

This puppy receives a score of 8.5 for this first temperament test.

BIRTH NOTES:
This puppy is quiet, but does grunt some when moved as a newborn. He is relatively still and doesn't move much, especially if he has a spot at the milk bar.

FOUR WEEK NOTES:
This puppy has light brown eyes.

THIRD WEEK NOTES:

This puppy is a dominant black coloring, not tan pointed. He has a medium length coat with a long mane and tail. His coat is longer than some of the other pups in his litter. This puppy is a giant size and remains the largest puppy in this litter.

BIRTH NOTES:
This puppy was born at 10:20 am. He is a giant black male with no white spotting. He has a crooked tail at the tip. This puppy weighed 1 lbs. 11 oz. at birth. He is quiet, but does grunt some when moved as a newborn. He is relatively still and doesn't move much, especially if he has a spot at the milk bar. This puppy wears the black collar. This puppy could be a black/silver tan point instead of a black wolf silver coloring. We'll have to see as he grows and his coat lightens up.
