This puppy has really opened up. He is confident and self-assured. This puppy is happy and loves to travel out to greet me. He is always aware of where I am and eager to be with me. This puppy loves snuggles and getting pet. He is the pick male from this litter but in temperament and appearance.

This puppy is a thinker. He moves methodically, only after thinking about what he wants to do and the situation in front of him. When placed with challenges, he will think through them before acting. This puppy is quiet much of the time. He doesn't have a tendency to vocalize much. This puppy is not a risk taker. He tends to enjoy routine.

TEMPERAMENT TEST #2

This puppy initially laid down for the rough pet. He then sat up and turned to the left, going in a circle back toward the puppy pile. This puppy was silent throughout the rough pet. This puppy was still, quiet, and loose during the lift. This puppy was still, quiet, and loose during the turn. This puppy stayed where he was placed away from the puppy pile, then looked around, then confidently stood on all fours and walked back to the puppy pile. He did not stay to explore the stranger. He was silent during this task. Once back at the pile, he laid down. This puppy explored the base of the basket with slow, methodical movements. He was silent during this time.

This puppy receives a score of 8.8 for this second temperament test.

TEMPEREMENT TEST #1

This puppy was quiet during the first 24-hours after birth. This puppy did not wiggle or squirm on the scale. He was quiet and still when turned over and held by a human. This puppy was still much of the time, eating and sleeping without fussing or moving around much as at.

This puppy receives a score of 9 for this first temperament test.

FOUR WEEK UPDATE:

This puppy is now the largest, heaviest male in the litter. He has a broad head and a heavy, thick frame. This male has bright yellow eyes, although they are not highly slanted, they are super bright and striking. This puppy's ears have just the slightest bit of lift to them, indicating that there is hope for them to rise despite this being a second generation from a 50/50 Lab/Shepherd cross. While not a guarantee, it is a good indication.

THREE WEEK UPDATE:
This puppy is a dominant black color. He has a medium coat length with a long mane and tail. He has a more blunt muzzle type, not tapered in the front.

BIRTH NOTES:
This puppy was born at 10:03 am. He is a giant black male with a small patch of white on his chest and a tiny bit of white on his front left toes. Otherwise he is completely black with a black nose and a black-tipped tail. This puppy has a medium length coat. He weighed 1 lbs 8 oz at birth. He is quiet and long in body. He was born breech with the sack off. He sports a green collar.
