Health:

Andromeda is extremely healthy. She has not had any tremors, seizures, weakness in the legs or feet, limping, panosteitis symptoms, issues with her eyes or ears, excessive scratching or other allergy symptoms, etc. She runs, jumps, lopes, lies down, etc without any difficulty. She has never showed signs of pain or any symptoms of illness at any time. She is extremely healthy and vibrant. Andromeda has been DNA tested and shows 8% coefficient of inbreeding with high immune diversity.

How does this puppy come into the world?
This puppy seemed to know where it was immediately after being born. She went straight to mom and began feeding as if she had known all along what to do. This puppy receives a score of 10+ for this section.

This puppy has movement and can go where she want, but she also does not constantly move. This puppy receives a score of 9 for this section.

What is the reaction of this pup to the first medical examination?

This puppy sniffed and looked about her. She constantly moved head from side to side. She put her head over the side of the scale and leaned over the edge. This puppy receives a score of 6 for this section.

What is the reaction of this pup when turned over on its back?

This puppy struggled and carried on until righted. She tried to trick the handler into turning over. This puppy receives a score of 5 for this section. 

What is the reaction of this pup when placed back with its mother?

This puppy new right where to go and headed in the correct direction with determination and persistance. She did not hesitate or stop to think about the direction. This puppy receives a score of 9 for this section.

What is the reaction of this pup when touched by a human?
This puppy sniffed the hand and then wagged her tail. She did not back away or turn her head away or move away. This puppy receives a score of 10 for this section. 

This puppy receives an overall score of 8.71 for this first temperament test. 

Drop an object into the den away from the pups. This puppy was alert and awake during the loud sound, but did not flinch, stiffen, or move. She looked in the direction of the sound. She did not move after the sound. This puppy receives a score of 10 for this category.

Using your whole hand, roughly pet the pup from muzzle to tail. This puppy stayed in one place, but moved her head gentle from side to side. She grunted some, but was not stiffl and did not stiffen her head at any time during this test. This puppy receives a score of 8 for this category.

Pick up the pup from its den using your whole hand to simulate mother dog's mouth. This puppy was loose with one small struggle attempt. There was no sound, but although she was quiet, her eyes were open and looking around. She was alert and loose. This puppy receives a score of 8 for this category.

Turn the pup over on its back securely supported. This puppy was initially loose then struggled, cried out and whined. She also yawned and put up a little fight. This puppy receives a score of 7 for this category.

Place the pup in a high-sided wicker basket by itself. How does this pup act when separated from littermates? This puppy was quiet but moved her head back and forth. She showed some stiffness, but did not exhibit any other signs of distress. This puppy receives a score of 8 for this category.

Replace the pup back near its siblings, but not with them.  How does the pup react? This puppy went toward the pile after a few seconds of stillness. She was silent throughout this part of the test. After reaching the pile with ease, she touched the first puppy with her nose, then immediately turned and went back to where she was initially placed back into the den. She moved around the space, sniffing as if seeking. Then, lie still in that spot. After a few minutes, she returned to the pil and lie down with her head on one of the other puppies. This puppy receives a score of 9 for this category.

Temperament:

Andromeda is a dominant dog and does not yield to other dogs. She is indifferent to strangers and strange dogs, differentiating between those she knows and those she does not know. She is not interested in strangers at all avoids strange dogs and situations. She prefers routine and consistency. Andromeda is highly indepedent and has a mind of her own, preferring to have her own way. She does not like to be told what to do and will resist vehemently if pushed. Andromeda has a higher prey drive and is interested in chasing small animals such as birds, squirrels, etc. Andromeda is a calmer dog and does not require much exercise need. She is not as attentive to her humans as we need in the breed and prefers activities she wants over doing with another wants. Andromeda is highly alert to her surroundings and notices movement from a distance. She recognizes touch easily and but plants her feet when she feels pressure. Andromeda is not afraid of thunder, gun shots, or loud noises. Andromeda has a high pain threshold and it takes a lot of real pain before she yelps or makes others aware.

Conformation:

Andromeda is a light silver wolf gray coloring with a black mask and yellow eyes. She has a short straight tail that does has a tendency to curl up and over her back. Her ears did not rise completely, but have risen at the base. They are small in size. Andromeda stands 26 inches tall at the shoulders and weighs around 95 pounds. She has a tendency to gain weight easily and enjoys eating. Andromeda has highly slanted eyes and a nice head shape, although her head is small for her overall size.

Faults:

Andromeda is much too independent for our breed. Andromeda has a higher prey drive than her want in the breed. She Her tail curls up and over her back and her ears did not rise. She has a small head and smaller feet.
