3a. Meadow

12:00 pm weighing 9.5 ounces... one of the lightest puppies ever born. This puppy was very thin and gangly at birth. She appeared not to have been receiving adequate nutrition in the womb. She birthed directly after a male stillborn pup. It was as if they were intertwined or connected, so perhaps she was a twin and didn't receive the same amount of nutrition as the other.

GENERAL NOTES:

This puppy is an omega dog. She does have her own mind, desires, and hopes, but she will sacrifice them all if a more dominant dog challenges her. She will not defend herself. This puppy has a soft heart and willingly gives it to her person, but she is very calm about it. When she wags her tail, it is softly and without bravado. She might look flashy on the outside, but her personality is calm and collected. She is a watcher and a thinker. She quietly abides her time and has endless patience. She doesn't advocate for herself now that she's older. Her more outgoing siblings often overshadow her. It is important to acknowledge her when she is simply sitting and observing, otherwise, she will not ask even though she wants to participate. She is the sweetest, most loving thing, but she needs a family who can see her bright light inside that quiet calm demeanor. She is not shy or reserved, simply very calm and patient.

TEMPERAMENT TEST #2:

This puppy was quiet during the rough pet. She moved her head down slightly when touched, but did not move her body forward or backward. This puppy completely relaxed and was silent when lifted. This puppy pumped her legs and tried to right herself when turned over on her back. She did not cry out. Once she found the boundary, she submitted and loosened. Her tail remained tucked, however. This puppy flinched a bit when touched on the head by a human in an unknown location. She did not whine or cry out, however. This puppy sat for a moment when placed back inside the den away from her siblings. After 10 seconds, she stood up and walked to the puppy pile, laid down and closed her eyes.

This puppy receives a score of 8 for this temperament test.

TEMPERAMENT TEST #1:

This puppy is vocal and often complains vocally when she needs something. She is not afraid to let others know she needs support. This puppy whined when lifted and moved by a human. She fussed when turned over and wiggled some on the scale.

This puppy receives a score of 6 for this first temperament test.

BIRTH NOTES:

This puppy was vocal just after birth. She doesn't like to be moved about. She calls out when she's cold or needs something and can't get it herself. This puppy needed some support to find the nipple.

5 WEEK UPDATE

This puppy has a long coat without feathering. She may have furnishings, but it hasn't been confirmed just yet. She has a beautiful round head with somewhat sad looking eyes because of the way her spotting is configured. She is a thin-boned female. She should be a very similar size and build to her mom when she is fully grown. That would be right around 100 lbs.

BIRTH NOTES:

Piebald female with two black spots around her eyes and on her ears… like the RCA dog and the gramophone. Very small in size.
