This puppy is cautious and aware of his surroundings. He is insecure in his understanding of the rules. He enjoys his food, and doesn't want anyone else to eat next to him. He is slightly possessive of "his" things when his siblings come around. He is not innately trusting, but when he gives his trust... it is for life and felt deeply. This boy will be highly devoted to his family and not be interested in people he doesn't know. He is looking for an intimate relationship build on clear and consistent rules, as well as fair leadership. This male pup will protect your home. He has the cautiousness to be leery of anyone coming up to his home without permission. He will naturally gravitate toward aloofness, so if you want a more outgoing dog, this is not it. He is introverted and doesn't like chaos or sudden movement. He would not do well in a chaotic household where people/kids are coming and going, screaming or fussing. He wants a quiet home where he can be nurtured and brought up to appreciate the calm life. He is not a dog park dog. He does not want to play with dogs he doesn't know. He will require appropriate socialization to experience the world at a safe distance. He should not be forced to interact with strangers beyond his emotional threshold. This puppy loves deeply, bonds strongly, and will be loyal to his people until the end. He is quiet and calm in nature, preferring to watch from afar instead of interact in the bustling crowd. His best home would be on a farm or forest with land around. If you want a natural guard dog, this would be it. He won't allow anyone he doesn't know to approach without a warning.
