Raspberry Tart does not have any health issues at this time. She is alert and strong. We will, of course, check her hips/elbows, look for any signs of pano or epilepsy, and watch for any other health issues before we breed.
Apart from the purebred litter, Raspberry Tart's personality is the best out of all the female pups born from the other three litters. She is very laid back and mellow and will allow any type of manipulation without struggle or noise. This is the ultimate temperament for our breed. Her pedigree places her four generations away from the recent outcross dogs. This is an excellent mixture between outcross and purebred and should have a loose enough pedigree to bring excellent temperament and health in her offspring.
Raspberry Tart is a large silver female. Her tail is black tipped and she has the dark black pigmentation around the eyes and ears. Her nose was black at birth. Her ears should go up solidly at 6 weeks old. She possesses large bone and body structure which gives her a solid build. This is especially nice for a female. Her feet are large per standards. She should reach 27-28 inches tall and weigh 90 - 100 pounds. Her mother, Luna, has light yellow eyes and her father, Keno, has light golden brown. Raspberry Tart's eyes should be somewhere in that range.
Faults:
Raspberry Tart has excellent temperament per standards. Her only faults at this time are in conformation, which we will need to carefully consider when we breed. Raspberry Tart is currently showing a lot of white from her chin all the way down to her belly. She also has a smaller head than we ultimately want. her tail is long for our breed.
We have planned our Future Litter with Raspberry Tart for sometime in 2011. Please click the link to find out more.
