quiet and eats a lot. calm

swift movement in a circle, no sound, only very quiet grunts, stiffened and some pumping of legs upon the lift, some resistance when turned over, but after thirty-seconds he submitted and relaxed,

This puppy did not struggle or show any movement backwards or forwards upon the rough pet. She yelped out in seeming surprise when the handler's hands went under her arms for the lift, but then immediately quieted and relaxed. She was loose during the entire lift. This puppy was relaxed, loose, and still during the turn. She did stretch her legs out and whined slightly at the beginning. She was still for the first minute with some struggled after that, but it was a feeble attempt. She then submitted and remained relaxed. This puppy was not stiff and did not show an elevated heart rate. When she was placed back in the den away from the others, she stayed where she was placed. This puppy receives a score of 8.25 for this test.
