Shadow

Health: Shadow is extremely healthy with no known health issues.  She has not had any tremors, seizures, weakness in the legs or feet, limping, panosteitis symptoms, issues with her eyes or ears, excessive scratching or other allergy symptoms, soft stools, etc.  She will be OFA elbow/hip x-rayed when the time comes.  She runs, jumps, lopes, lies down, etc without any difficulty.  She has never showed signs of pain or any symptoms of illness at any time.  She is extremely healthy and vibrant.  Her first heat began June 16, 2013.

1.5cc Nemex-2 (round worm medicine)

12-1-2012: 3 weeks
Weight: 4 lb 14 oz

Temperament: Shadow is extremely loyal and loving.  She looks at her owners straight in the eyes and emits love and devotion.  She enjoys being pet and attended to.  She is slightly cautious of new people and dogs but will warm up to them in time.  She is extremely quiet, and we've only heard her bark on occasion and only for a reason.  She does not whine.  She has a low prey/play drive and does not chase balls.  She will tug, but only for a moment and would rather be pet then played with.  She has more energy overall than we desire in our breed and she can cover distance easily.  She does not wander or roam however and prefers to remain close to home.  She seems to have an innate ability to respect boundaries and likes to be enclosed in 'her' space.  She needs repetition to learn new skills and learning is more difficult for her than we want in our breed.

Overall, this puppy receives a score of 10.1 on this first temperament test.

Overall, this puppy receives a score of 9.5 on the second temperament test.

Conformation:

Shadow is a large, heavy wolf gray female with amber eyes and a black muzzle.  She will throw light muzzles in her puppies.  She has large bones and a broad stance.  Her ears are currently flopping around as they begin to rise.  It looks like her left ear will eventually rise, but her right ear may not.  We will keep you updated on their progress.  She curls her tail above her back, but not tightly and lays it flat with relaxed.  She has a beautiful shorter coat that we wish to keep in the lines.
