Health:

Lulu is extremely healthy. She has not had any tremors, seizures, weakness in the legs or feet, limping, panosteitis symptoms, issues with her eyes or ears, excessive scratching or other allergy symptoms, soft stools, etc. She runs, jumps, lopes, lies down, etc without any difficulty. She has never showed signs of pain or any symptoms of illness at any time. She is extremely healthy and vibrant. Lulu has been DNA tested and she is clear of all 165 genetic diseases tested. She is a carrier of Canine Multifocal Retinopathy.

Temperament:

Lulu is a very smart dog. She learns very quickly and complies well when asked to do things she may not ultimately want to do. Lulu thrives on human affection and attention. She loves being groomed and pet. She loves to be doted over and snuggled with. She prefers chew toys, soft plush toys and puzzle solving toys rather than higher energy activities, such fetch and chase. Lulu is a submissive dog and bends to the will of others with ease, however, she is confident and does not wilt when corrected. Lulu is aloof to strangers, but doesn't mind being pet by them. Lulu is not an outgoing dog, but a thinking type, instead. Lulu is highly alert to her surroundings and notices differences or changes quickly. She has a bit more energy than we like and can run and play for about an hour before she tires. Lulu has a high drive and does have a tendency to care about birds or other critters that run. She will bark that them if she cannot get to them. Lulu bonds well with her family, but does show a tendency to show a bit wider range of space between her owners. She does not mind being out of sight from her owners while on a walk, for example. Although, she will come back to check on them, her territory is greater than we ultimately want. Lulu is appropriately touch sensitive and takes very little touch to notice something different is needed. Lulu possesses a high pain tolerance. It takes a lot of real pain before she yelps or makes others aware.

Conformation:

Lulu has more of a square body type where her height is overall similar in measurement to her length from chest to rump. Lulu shows a medium sized foot structure. She is a black wolf gray colored dog with medium to long length fur and medium cottony undercoat.  She shows brown colored eyes. Lulu's head is broad and slightly rounded at the top. She has a black mask covering his muzzle. Lulu was born with deep black pigmentation throughout. Lulu is on the average-sized side of the breed and may reaches a height of 27 inches tall and weigh around 85 to 90 pounds. Her ears rose very late and are not solid in their erectness. They tend to flop down a bit as she runs. Her tail does not curl over the back in any way, but is slightly longer than needed.

Faults:

Lulu shows no faults in health at this time. Lulu shows only minor faults in temperament. Lulu has a bit more energy. She barks when she is excited or when she sees other animals (such as birds) that she wants to get to, but cannot. She shows a wider girth around her people than we need. Lulu shows a more prominent stop than we like in the breed. She has brindling as well as too much yellow coloring in her coat.
