Temperament Test #2

Puppy #1 - Blue

Drop an object into the den away from the pups. This puppy did not startle, did not look up or around, and did not whine or cry out. This puppy receives a score of 10 for this category.

Using your whole hand, roughly pet the pup from muzzle to tail. This puppy moved some then turned in a circle. He did not grunt or make sounds. This puppy receives a score of 6 for this category.

Pick up the pup from its den using your whole hand to simulate mother dog's mouth. This puppy was loose and still. He was also silent. This puppy receives a score of 10 for this category.

Turn the pup over on its back securely supported. This puppy took about thirty seconds of stillness, no real looseness, but not rigid. He then began a massive fit. His tail wagged nervously and he licked the air before his fit. This puppy wailed and flailed for twenty two seconds before submitting. He sighed and then his body became still, however, he continued to howl regarding his plight. This puppy returned to normal the instant he was righted. Then, became quiet and loose in body. This puppy receives a score of 4 for this category.

Place the pup in a high-sided wicker basket by itself. How does this pup act when separated from littermates? This puppy looked around, looked up and did not show much energy. This puppy receives a score of 9 for this category.

Long tail, knew right away how to find milk, very calm and doesn't move much, cream color uner tail and down legs, small white tipped tail and two small white patches on chest/belly, head first, sack on.
