Sat with the puppies today and noticed a few things about each of them that I wanted to share here for you.
Baloo: This puppy is a very large pup with a quiet and gentle demeanor. He is more of a serious type of puppy and is not as playful or outgoing. Rather he is an introvert and is the least confident puppy in this litter. He is not an explorer, but more of a pup to enjoy routine and sameness. He would do well in a quieter family and we do not recommend him for children or active families. This puppy will require socialization training as we describe it on our website as he is gentle and aware of everything in his surroundings. This puppy is a black/tan with gold tones. He shows a medium length coat type with lower undercoat levels, which will be an easy coat type to manage. He has large paws and his ears will likely rise.
Loud object: This puppy initially startled then sat up and whined, but then stopped to listen to the loud sound. This puppy receives a score of 7 for this category.
Rough pet: This puppy sat in place without moving forward or backwards. Calm and confident. No flinching or noises. This puppy receives a score of 10 for this section.
Lift: This puppy was calm and quiet. His body was loose with no movement. This puppy was alert and confident. This puppy receives a score of 10 for this section.
Turn over: This puppy was quiet and loose for fifteen seconds, then began to struggle. He made a strong effort. He did not cry out, but grunted from the effort of trying to turn himself over again. This puppy submitted in eight seconds and then was quiet, calm and loose. This puppy receives a score of 8 for this section.
Basket: This puppy sniffed along the edges of the basket, grunting some. This puppy receives a score of 8 for this section.
Return: This puppy was interested in getting to mom and went directly for her, as if completely forgetting about the testing ordeal. He receives a score of 8 for this section.
This puppy receives an overall score of 8.5 for this test.
