Harpo

Health:

Harpo is extremely healthy. He has not had any tremors, seizures, weakness in the legs or feet, limping, panosteitis symptoms, issues with her eyes or ears, excessive scratching or other allergy symptoms, soft stools, etc. He runs, jumps, lopes, lies down, etc without any difficulty. He has never showed signs of pain or any symptoms of illness at any time.  He is extremely healthy and vibrant. Harpo has been DNA tested and is clear and not a carrier for 165 genetic diseases.

Temperament:

Harpo is a very smart dog. He learns very quickly and complies well when asked to do things he may not ultimately want to do. Harpo does not like to be bored. When he is bored, he howls and moans. He loves human affection and attention. He loves being groomed and pet. He prefers actively playing tug or fetching rather than lower energy activities, such as chew toys. Harpo is a balanced dog where he shows submissiveness when appropriate, but is not a push-over. He bounces back from a correction with ease and does not hold a grudge. Harpo is extremely friendly, but has learned early on that getting pet by humans means to sit in front of them and look up. This behavior has proven to be highly effective for him. Harpo does not know a stranger nor a strange dog. Harpo is a confident dog and is not nervous in any way. Harpo has a lot more energy than we like in our breed and wants a lot of variety on his life to keep things interesting. He has a hard time relaxing and loves to be on the go. Harpo has a higher drive than we want in our breed and loves to watch and chase birds. He is a very willing dog. Harpo is appropriately touch sensitive and takes very little touch to notice something different is needed. He has an uncanny ability to read human emotion and alter his own emotion to match. Harpo possesses a high pain tolerance. It takes a lot of real pain before him yelps or makes others aware.

Conformation:

Harpo has more of a square body type where his height is very similar in measurement as his length from chest to rump. Harpo shows compact foot structure. He is a silver wolf gray colored dog with a long mane, thick tail and little undercoat. His ears took the longest in his litter to rise. He shows brown colored eyes that glow an amber color when highlighted by the sun. Harpo's head is a bit narrow as well as his muzzle. He has a white spotted mask covering his muzzle and was born with a pink nose and pink pads of the feet. This pink skin pigmentation quickly disappeared a few weeks after birth and he now shows deep black skin pigmentation both on his nose and on the pads of his feet. Harpo has excessively thick undercoat and sheds profusely. He shows a long mane and thick tail that curls over his back. 

Faults:

Harpo has no faults in health. Harpo has just a bit more energy and a need to frequently change out his activities in order to not be bored. He has white spotting. Harpo's feet are too compact. His head is too narrow in shape and his nose tapers too thinly toward his smaller nose. Harpo's tail curls over his back.
