About the Litter

This powerful match will consist of extra large, Dire Wolf-sized puppies with large builds and body structure. The puppies should stand 28-32 inches tall at the shoulders and weigh between 105-130 lbs as adults. All ears should rise, but some may take longer to rise than others. Puppies will be on the aloof side, not interested in interacting with strangers or strange dogs. Some puppies may be more reserved, velcro, and loyal. All puppies will be submissive in nature, wanting to be led instead of taking the lead. Puppies will be highly intelligent and intuitive to human emotion. Socialization will be important for the puppies from this litter. Puppies will show red, gold, or silver wolf sable and all puppies will have black masks. Half of the puppies will have longer coats with feathering behind their ears, on their legs, mane, pantaloons, and tail, while the other half will have a shorter coat like Razar. Eyes should range in color from amber to yellow. Half of the puppies will show minimal white spotting, with some small spots on the chest and toes. The other half will show a significant amoung of white spotting, possibly some white on the back of the neck and top of the head. Half of the puppies will have a low shedding type of coat, while the other half will be high shedding dogs. Tails will range from long to short in length, but all tails will lie flat and not have a tendency to curl over the back. Some tails will have a sabor-like swish at the end as it swoops like a sword to the ground. The inbreeding coefficient for this litter will be 13.87% on a five generation pedigree. The puppies from this litter will be third generation (F3). Both parents have been DNA tested clear of over 172 genetic diseases identified in dogs from Embark Veterinary. Health is guaranteed, as always. We are not looking to co-own any puppies from this litter, but we will keep the largest two of the overall wolf sable male and female pups with more confident temperaments from this litter to futher the lines.
