Health:

Triton is extremely healthy. He has not had any tremors, seizures, weakness in the legs or feet, limping, panosteitis symptoms, issues with his eyes or ears, excessive scratching or other allergy symptoms, soft stools, etc. He runs, jumps, lopes, lies down, etc without any difficulty. He has never showed signs of pain or any symptoms of illness at any time. He is extremely healthy and vibrant. Triton has been DNA tested and clear and not a carrier for over 172 different genetic canine diseases. His coefficient of inbreeding is: 8% with high immune diversity.

Temperament:

Triton is sweet and loving. He is on the submissive side of things and does not seek to take charge over others. He backs down very easily from conflict and does not assert himself with the other dogs. Triton is indifferent to people and other dogs that he does not know. He could take them or leave them. He prefers his family and the familiarity of the dogs with which he lives. He likes consistency and routine. Triton is slightly more nervous about riding in the car than we like, indicating a somewhat weak stomach for motion. Triton required some confidence training through socialization in order to accept a friendly stranger without caution. Triton is extremely devoted to his family. He seeks to be directed and appreciates boundaries and clear expectations. He does not seek his own satisfaction and always thinks of others needs along with his own. Triton is calm and does not possess excessive energy. He loves to run about the yard and is busy looking and sniffing from here to there on a walk, but is not interested in chasing balls, frisbees, etc. He prefers thinking games or chewing on soft plush toys or treats. Triton is highly alert to his surroundings and notices everything around him, even things that are happening fairly far away. Triton has a small amount of prey drive beyond what we desire for the breed, it is not excessive. He will chase birds that linger on the ground too long and then suddenly fly off a short distance. Like his mother before him, he is a seeker and searches for things to do that interest him. Triton is appropriately touch sensitive and does not require much touch as all in order to react or notice the touch. He is a softer dog, in this way, and responds to even slight corrections. Triton is not bothered by loud sounds in the least. He does not tremble at thunder or gun shots. It takes a lot for Triton to show that he is in pain. Triton does not guard his food or have any tendency to be possessive. He is great with cats, even kittens, and enjoys their antics.

Conformation:

Triton has a lovely medium length coat with thick straight fur. He is white in color, but is a genetic carrier or silver wolf gray. He has brown eyes. He has very little white spotting, although he was born with all pink skin that completely turned black two days after birth.. Triton has a short tail that does rise higher than we want. He has a longer thicker mane, called a cape, that is soft and lush. Triton has a broad frame and a heavy weight and is a very tall dog standing 28.5 inches tall at the shoulders. Triton shows a thick bone structure and medium-sized feet. Triton is very well proportioned throughout. Triton has a straight back and carries his head down in a wolf-like stance. Triton has a minimal stop and slanted eyes. His ears rose completely, although not until he was 8 months old.

Faults:

Triton does not possess any faults in health. Triton does not show any faults in temperament. Triton is a recessive white color, which is undesired in the American Alsatian dog breed. Triton could possess a bit more genetic confidence. Triton's eyes are brown in color.
