NOTES:

Conformation Notes:

Puppy #1 - Nessie (red)

This puppy is a large silver wolf sable female with a black mask. She will likely reach 27 - 28 inches tall and weigh 100 lbs as an adult. She has a beautiful thick structure with minimal white spotting. She has a shorter coat type with a longer mane and tail. Her fur tends to have a little wave to it. She has a large white patch on her chest, but otherwise, she is a solid coloration. She has a nice head shape that is neither too narrow nor is it broad. Her eyes are appropriately slanted and appear to be brown.

Puppy #2 - Finfolk (brown)

This puppy is giant in size. He should reach 30 to 31 inches tall at the shoulders and weight 130+ as an adult. He is expected to be dire wolf-sized. This male is particularly interesting in conformation because he has quite a long coat type, despite not having feathering. He will be fluffier than his siblings. He has a broad head shape with a chubby round face. His stop (where the skull meets the muzzle) is particularly deep, more like a malamute than a shepherd in shape. He has fluffy cheeks that perpetuate his rounded facial features. This puppy has thick, tree-trunk like legs to hold up his massive frame. This puppy has excessive white spotting with a blazed down the top of his muzzle. He also has a large white chest, all white paws, and a significant white-tipped tail.

Puppy #3 - Cetus (black)

This puppy is small in size with a more narrow head shape. He has a thinner overall body type and will likely only reach 27 inches tall as an adult. This puppy is expected to be lighter in weight for our breed, only reaching around 100 lbs as an adult. This puppy has very little white spotting. Only a few hairs are white on the tip of his tail. He shows a few tiny patches of white on a few toes. He also only has a small white patch on his chest. These will likely darken up or blend in with the rest of his coat as an adult. He has a short coat type that is straight in texture. His tail is short and does not have a tendency to curl.

Puppy #4 - Ariel (pink)

This puppy is a medium-sized silver wolf sabe female with a black mask. She has a shorter coat type that is straight in structure. This puppy has a thick blaze on the top of her muzzle starting behind her nose and ascending to just before her forehead. She has smaller feet. Her tail is short without a tendency to curl.

Puppy #5 - Mami Wata (yellow)

This puppy is small in size with a more narrow shape to her head. She should be the size of a typical female German Shepherd dog standing 27 inches tall at the shoulders and weighing 90-95 lbs as an adult. She has beautiful brown slanted eyes with a black mask. Her coat is medium length with a slightly longer mane and tail. She has small feet, a short tail that does not curl, and a thinner body type. Her fur is straight without tendency to curl. She has a more narrove muzzle type. This female has minimal white spotting with a black-tipped tail and only a small amount of white on her toes and chest.

Puppy #6 - Lorelei (white)

This puppy is a large female. She will likely be around 95 - 100 lbs as an adult and stand 27 - 28 inches tall at the shoulders. This puppy has excessive white spotting, in fact, she has the most significant white spotting in this litter. She has white all the way up her legs and on the under side of her legs that descends into her chest and belly. This puppy also has a large white-tipped tail and a white stripe traveling all the way from ther nose to her forehead. This puppy is fluffy with a longer coat type. She also shows white-tipped hairs all along the dark fur on her shoulders and down her back... much like a raccoon's coat would do.

Puppy #7 - Jengu (grey)

This puppy is a large female with a silver wolf sable coat and a black muzzle. She has a minimal amount of white spotting with a black-tipped tail. She will likely reach 100 lbs and stand 27 - 28 inches tall as an adult. She has white-tipped hairs on her back and shoulders, like a raccoon. She has a medium length coat that is straight in texture. This puppy has deep black pigmentation. She appears to have brown eyes.

Puppy #8 - Syrenka (green)

This puppy is a small female with a silver wolf sable coat and a black muzzle. She is the smallest female in this litter. She will likely reach 27 inches tall at the shoulders and weigh 90 lbs as an adult. This puppy has a thin frame with thinner bone structure and smaller feet. She has a lovely short tail that does not have a tendency to curl. This puppy has a shorter coat type with a slight wave in texture. This puppy has minimal white spotting with a white chest and only a small amount of white on her toes.

Puppy #9 - Jormu (light blue)

This puppy is large in size. He will likely reach 28 inches tall at the shoulders and weigh just over 105 lbs as an adult.  This puppy has a thick, fluffy coat. He should excessive white spotting. This includes a large white patches on his tail, paws, chest, and under his chin. He also has a small, thin white stripe down his forehead and a white patch on the top of his neck near his shoulders. This puppy has a thick fluffy coat type that is longer and fluffier than some of the other puppies. He may have furnishings (longer tuffs of hair on the lower corners of his mouth). He also looks to have yellow eyes.

Puppy #10 - Sedna (no collar female)

This puppy is giant in size. She will likely reach 29 to 30 inches tall at the shoulders and weigh over 105 lbs as an adult. She has excessive white spotting with a white blaze on the top of her muzzle. Her paws and tail tip are white. She has a medium length coat that is straight in structure. She also shows white tips to her fur on the shoulders and down her back. This puppy has a significant stop that is too prominent for our breed. Her head is broad and her overall body structure is broad and imposing. It is rare to have a giant female, so we are excited to watch her grow and become the beauty she is meant to be. She does have lovely slanted eyes, but they do appear to be brown.

Puppy #11 - Levianthan (no collar male)

This puppy is a giant male with a medium length coat. He is lighter in color than his siblings, but has a brownish hue to the undercoat, instead of a stark white color. This puppy has a broad head, chest, and rear. His tail is short, but it does have a tendency to curl. He has a little white on the tip of his tail, on all of his toes, and a little patch of white on his chest. He also has a faded white dot on the top of his muzzle just behind his nose. This puppy will be dire wolf-sized likely weighing 130 lbs or more as an adult. He will also stand around 30 to 31 inches tall at the shoulders. Very impressive overall size. His fur is straight without any tendency to curl. He appears to have light brown-colored eyes that are nicely slanted. He shows a black mask that will remain dark much of his life, lightening up slightly over the years. He has thick legs to hold up his massive physique.

Temperament Testing #1

Puppy #1 - Nessie (red)

Puppy #2 - Finfolk (brown)

This puppy is extremely quiet. He does not move except to find his mother for milk. He is very easy-going and doesn't mind being moved or manipulated by momma. He has a longer, fluffier coat type. Very mellow and quiet.

Puppy #3 - Cetus (black)

This puppy is the most vocal in the litter. He complains by whining and crying for his momma. He could be heard making grunting noises when eating. This doesn't mean he is excessively vocal. He is quiet much of the time. It is just that the other puppies in the litter are silent. This puppy is not. He is a smaller pup. We monitored his ability to get to the milk bar. He could be moved off because of the size difference from some of the giant pups. He holds his own and gets where he needs to go. He can often be seen on top of the other pups, eating sideways with his body propped up by the larger puppies.

Puppy #4 - Ariel (pink)

This puppy is quiet and was silent for the first 24 hours after birth. She is on the smaller side of the spectrum. Due to this, we monitored her to make sure she had first priority at the milkbar.

Puppy #5 - Mami Wata (yellow)

This puppy is extremely quiet. She was silent for the first 24 hours after birth. She can be seen licking her siblings and wagging her tail. This puppy appears to be more outgoing at this time. She is on the smaller side, but she doesn't let this stop her. She is aware and alert, often getting up first when mom comes around.

Puppy #6 - Lorelei (white)

This puppy is extremely quiet. She was silent for the first 24 hours after birth. She is able to travel where she wants, when she wants, with ease. She is aware and alert of when mom comes into the room. This puppy moves others out of her way and gets what she wants. She does not fuss when mom cleans her.

Puppy #7 - Jengu (gray)

Puppy #8 - Syrenka (green)

This puppy was extremely quiet during the first 24 hours after birth. This puppy is calm and does not have a drive to go in a quick manner toward mom when it is time to feed. This puppy is easily pushed aside from the larger pups in the pack. Appears submissive, not a leader.

Puppy #9 - Jormu (light blue)

This puppy was extremely quiet during the first 24 hours after birth. This puppy is large and in charge. He doesn't mind pushing others out of the way to get what he wants, namely, milk. When he travels, it is with a purpose. No excessive energy or movement. This puppy doesn't mind being turns or manipulated by momma dog. He is not fussing, whining, and is quiet when eating and sleeping.

Puppy #10 - Sedna (no collar female)

This puppy is very quiet and chill. She is also large and lumbering. She meanders, instead of thursting herself forward to get where she wants to go. This puppy appears to be easy-going and carefree. She doesn't get upset at being moved or manipulated from her mother. She was heard grunting in displeasure a few times when moved for cleaning.

Puppy #11 - Leviathan (no collar male)

This puppy is very calm and can often be seen sleeping. He has made no noise during the first 24 hours after birth. This puppy moves where he wants when he wants, but he does so with a slowness about him.

Litter Predictions

Set sail on a new adventure! We expect puppies from this ideal breeding to be large to extra large in size, standing 28 to 30 inches tall and weighing 100-115 lbs. All puppies will show silver wolf sable coats with medium to short coat lengths and black masks. All puppies will be high seasonal shedders, easily letting go of their fluffy undercoat twice a year when the weather changes. All ears will rise early with tails that lie flat. Some puppies will show no white spotting, while other puppies will show small amounts of white spotting. Half of the puppies will show a few longer whisps of hair near their mouth, called furnishings. All puppies will be highly intelligent. We anticipate that all puppies will be very close to American Alsatian dog temperament standards. We will note any divergence from the temperament standards, as usual. This is a highly genetically diverse match bringing two separate American Alsatian dog lines together. The inbreeding coefficient for this litter will be 1.95% on a five generation pedigree and six known genetic COIs with a 98.67% ancestor loss coefficient on a four generation pedigree. The puppies from this litter will be fourth generation (F4) American Alsatian dogs. Both parents have been DNA tested clear of over 172 genetic diseases identified in dogs from Embark Veterinary and have high immune diversity. Health is guaranteed, as always. We are not looking to co-own any puppies from this litter, but we will keep the best overall large-sized puppy(ies), preferably without furnishings, from this litter to futher the lines.

Puppies will range in price from $3500 to $4800 for pet quality and more for breeding/show quality.
