UPDATES:

11/7/2018:
Sat with the puppies today and noticed a few things about each of them that I wanted to share here for you.

Grizzly: This puppy is masculine and macho in build. He has a lot of muscular undertones and a large, broad chest and head. He is confident and isn't a follower. He is more self-assured and able to make his own decisions. This puppy is gentle and calm. He has his mother's coloring and will be a gold wolf gray (some people say sable) with light eyes. It is likely that his ears will rise. He will look very much like a wolfish-looking German Shepherd Dog with unexpected light eyes. He has a medium length coat with a low amount of undercoat, which equals less shedding and easily managed coat type. Going to be very beautiful with a secure, stable, confident, yet gentle and calm demeanor, able to weather trials and tribulations with relative ease. He is also intuitive and smart. Great all-around pup here.

Fozzie: This puppy is super gentle and calm. He is smart and watchful and will learn new tasks easily. He currently shows some reserved tendencies and is going through a shy period. This tells me that his confidence is lower overall than some of his siblings at this time and he will require some socialization training to keep his confidence up as he gets older. Fozzie is a go-with-the-flow kind of pup and isn't interested in taking charge or being in charge. He is easily submissive and wants to have the security to feel safe. He wears his emotions outwardly and will be extremely devoted to his family with a introverted temperament. Fozzie is a black/tan in color with light eyes. His ears will likely rise. He has a straight medium length coat is a low amount of undercoat, which will be easily managed. This puppy is a great pup, but will need a sensitive person to understand his more intuitive, emotional side.

Master Po: This puppy is definitely the master. He is confident, secure and is not a follower. He is a calm and gentle soul that loves to be near and close. His eyes penetrate as he looks directly at you in order to get to know you better. He will sit for a long while just to be near. This puppy does not mind the antics of the other pups and isn't swayed by peer-pressure. haha. That is due to his confidence. That being said, he is not independent in the sense that he must have his way. He doesn't fight for position and doesn't want conflict. Very sweet and loving. This puppy is calm and gentle and smart. He is a less serious type of puppy and may be more outgoing in nature as he grows... not overly excitable by strangers, but confidently interested in them. This puppy is plush-coated with a soft furry undercoat and will likely seasonally shed like a Malamute. His coat is thick and soft and will require brushing, especially if he goes into the brush on hiking trips or gets into some sticker bushes. This puppy is a black/tan with white legs, very much like the look of a Bernese Mountain Dog. In fact, his coat is very similar in texture, as well. His ears may or may not rise and I give it a 50/50 chance. He is large in body and large in head size. A very big boy with a calm, gentle, sweet, loving attitude. A strong, all-around great pup.

Teddy: This puppy comes in a small package, but he is the sweetest, most loving puppy with a gentle soul. This puppy would be an excellent candidate for PTSD or psychiatric service dog work. He is calm and gentle, but smart and confident. He is not afraid of anything, but isn't pushy or dramatic. He has a strong gentle confidence about him, but he is more introverted in nature. He will love his people more than strangers, but innately, he handles the unknown with grace and security and will likely handle all kinds of activities with confidence. I would recommend socialization training to keep up his confidence, only because his is so gentle and soft in nature, but currently, he is self-assured and willing to calmly explore without fear. This puppy is intuitive and takes the time to experience people on an intimate level. He looks directly in the eyes and wills the person to love and pet him. Great soul in this pup. Teddy is a silver wolf gray with light eyes and his ears will likely rise. He has a straight medium length coat with low undercoat that will be easy to manage.

Buttons: This puppy always does everything right and never makes a fuss or bother. He is not a leader, but neither is he a follower. He just does what is best and leads or follows equally well. This puppy is quiet and somewhat reserved and is more serious in nature. He is not outgoing, but more of on introvert. This puppy has an adequate amount of confidence, but is not an explorer. Not out of fear, but out of a lack of desire to be anywhere but where he is. He is a go-with-the-flow type of puppy. This puppy is a gold wolf gray with a shorter coat type and silver tipped hairs on his fur - a very uniquely beautiful wolfish coat coloring. This puppy has a low level of undercoat and his coat will be easily managed. It appears that his ears will likely rise. This puppy is a muscular pup with a solid body type and a large head. He is a very smart pup and takes some time to get to know him intimately. But, once you do, he is a loyal and loving type of dog. Great overall pup.

Cindy: Cindy is a smart pup with a mind of her own. She has a playfulness about her and is less serious in nature. She is, thus far, outgoing and loves to interact with people in a fun-loving way. Cindy is less of an observer and more interested in her own needs and wants. Cindy is on the calm side of life and generally goes with the flow. She does not require much to be happy. She is a very large silver wolf gray female with a plush coat which has a thick undercoat that appears to have a slight curl to it. Her ears have a 50/50 change of rising. She has large paws and a beautiful thick build to her body.

Orsola: This puppy is a sweet, loving and playful pup. She loves snuggling and hugs. She is exceedingly confident and isn't bothered by much. She shows a strong independence and wants to have her way. She is pushy and moves the other pups out of her way to get what she wants. She is not a follower, but also isn't interested in leading. She is her own. She explores new objects, sounds, and places easily. Orsola is a silver wolf gray with light eyes and a soft plush coat with significant undercoat. This type of coat will need to be brushed regularly to keep it free from debris. This puppy is ougoing in nature and explorative, but keenly smart and wants to learn new things and do all there is to do. She would get bored easily and needs simulation to keep her interested.

Kodiak: Oh how I love this pup. Kodiak is a true gentleman. He is respectful and wants to make sure he isn't a bother. He is loving, gentle, calm and super sweet. He is on the submissive side of life and it will not take much correction to change his behavior if needed. This puppy is extremely smart and learns quickly. He is more of an introvert and seeks one-on-one attention and affection. He is confident and self-assured. Kodiak is a silver wolf gray in color and has a medium length coat with low undercoat that will not require much grooming. His ears will likely rise and he has light colored eyes. This is a strong, muscular male with a macho look about him. He has a large head and beautiful large size and overall body type. This puppy's calm affection is contageous. Great pup and I will keep his price high because if he does not sell for that price, I would love to keep him to further the breed.

Gentle Ben: This puppy is a beautiful wolfie-looking boy with a gorgeous light silver wolf gray coloring. He has a plush coat type with a thicker undercoat and light eyes. He is a calm and intuitive pup that is more introverted in nature. Because he is going through a shy period at this time, he shows that he will require socialization training to keep his confidence on the rise. This puppy is gentle and loving at this time, but is not an explorer and prefers routine and someone who can understand his more sensitive side. Gentle Ben has a bit of indepdence and has his own mind about things, but isn't one to take charge. He is a follower and would rather have another lead. This will be great for puppy training as routine and consistent training will be great for him. This puppy is a large male and I give his ears a 50/50 chance of rising at this time. He has large paws and will be strikingly beautiful as an adult. A glamorous, striking puppy that will turn heads and stop traffic.

Pooky: This puppy is calm and gentle with a more serious type nature. She shows that she is going through a shy period at the moment, which indicates to us that she will be a little less confident overall and will benefit from socialization training to keep her confidence level on the rise. She is sweet and loving, but is also aware and smart. She is not a leader and is not pushy, but more of a follower. She is aware of her surroundings and notices everything going on around her. This ability can be an asset for her, but her owner must understand her more sensitive needs. This puppy will likely have her mother's character and will be quiet, calm, gentle, and accepting of strangers, but not want to be their best friend. She will prefer her own family over strangers. This puppy is a beautiful silver wolf gray color with white patches on her feet. She has a medium length coat with a lower undercoat level. Her ears will likely rise.

Baloo: This puppy is a very large pup with a quiet and gentle demeanor. He is more of a serious type of puppy and is not as playful or outgoing. Rather he is an introvert and is the least confident puppy in this litter. He is not an explorer, but more of a pup to enjoy routine and sameness. He would do well in a quieter family and we do not recommend him for children or active families. This puppy will require socialization training as we describe it on our website as he is gentle and aware of everything in his surroundings. This puppy is a black/tan with gold tones. He shows a medium length coat type with lower undercoat levels, which will be an easy coat type to manage. He has large paws and his ears will likely rise.

10/30/2018 Yesterday, Buttons threw up three times during the day. Earlier, I had given him a bit of summer sausage as a treat to chew on and I wonder if this had an impact on him. Not all of the puppies received bits of summer sausage because most of the puppies were sleeping, but I did watch the three other pups that received some. Today, Fozzie, who was one of the four, threw up one time. So, I will continue to watch the pups for more of this behavior. Buttons appears completely normal today and he never stopped eating or drinking and was not dehydrated, so the case of the curious vomiting continues to bewilder me. Fozzie is a bit low on energy today, just as Buttons was yesterday, but as with Buttons, he continues to eat and drink and is not dehydrated. If anything develops, I will update.

Master Po at 12 days old

10/20/2018: Today puppies began eating real food. They are extremely quiet, there are one or two exceptions, and they have learned how to move around mom to get where they need to go. They are beginning to walk on their own and their eyes and ears are opening up. Once they are fully opened, we will perform the second temperament test. Puppy stools have firmed up now with some still a bit watery. Mom continues her Safe-Guard worming for three more days.
